RAMC Shite Work Product on The Little Yellow Bird

Ladies and gentlemen

I’ve seen no reply regarding the specifics I noted on my RamCycles (RAMC) service experience.

I do feel quite certain that I asked for all the items noted on the RAMC Work Order (WO) to be addressed.  Regardless, to let a trackbike roll out with a finger-loose bolt and other loose bolts seems disconcerting for someone known to be intent on pushing that bike at the track.  So it seemed to me, and to my 3 MotorcycleXcitement (MXT) pit buddies who noted the deficiencies.
From my read, the work order tells me that I paid $360 for fluids and to have reassy work done that I would have done myself except precisely for the shears and strips that I said I wanted to have fixed.
I’m a faithful MXT client and advocate. Unfortunately for reasons unknown to me, my WO lacked the priority to allow me to support attend and therefore support  2 of Roger’s trackdays. In the interim I’ve tracked 4 days with an organization that rents motorcycles.  Right now I find myself unable to attend MXT’s final 2 days of the 2011 season.  I’m bummed about that.  I like the family and culture that Roger nurtures.   I value Roger’s safety record.  I like bringing my friends to the potlucks.  I like that kids and dogs are welcome.
SPR, MXT, RAMC, Raceday, Abby, Dennis, Quentin and riders like me — we have a little ecosystem here.  I buy BBQ sandwiches at the SPR Cafe that I don’t eat.  I need new Sidi boots.  I’d like to buy them from Paris instead of from Kneedraggers.com.  I will certainly need replacement parts in the future.

I’m sure we’d all like to make our own contributions to make our ecosystem flourish.  Without your help I’m not sure that at this time I can make the fullest contribution that I’d like.  I hope we can find a way towards a different outcome.  Maybe business is really good and the loss of one client is tolerable.  That’s not for me to know.   Ladies and gentlemen, I guess the ball is in your court.

Regrets that I won’t be there this weekend.
Sincerely
Gus Giron

Oggetto: Re: Fwd: Hello Justin how was your day back at the track.
Did you speak with Alex or Paris? They told me that the bike came in that way and you wanted something else fixed. I told them at the least, they should have called you and let you know (if they knew), AND NOTE IT ON THE TICKET! Sorry you had a bad experience. Will we see you this weekend?
Roger

My effort to get satisfaction for …
  1. visibly loose bolt on leftside case cover, i mean it is was more than finger-loose
  2. when I noticed some oil blow, Larry noticed the plastic round bit in the center of the case cover was loose
  3. Glen went over all bolts on leftside case cover with me, thought most of them were insufficiently tight
  4. the sheared leading bolt on cover (behind coolant pipe) was not drilled out and replaced per fonecon and workorder
  5. Larry showed me how the helicoil on a rearmost bolt was out of alignment, no bolt installed
  6. The other stripped bolt was replaced with a large-headed bolt; you’d have to take off the countershaft cover to get it off
  7. gear shift lever bolt not tight
