With family obligations, and no garage, i’m trying to keep my Moto footprint, physically, spatially & financially as slim as possible
Cheap-ass’d ideers:
- renting not owning trailer
- Condo Board frowns upon this
- basic Craftsman tools that fit into my milkCrate:
- at Bruce’s direction,
- i did buy 8/10/12/14mm combo wrenches & a
- 24mm socket (i had to borrow one from Emory and Harry to loosen my chain)
- at Bruce’s direction,
- running ELVIS the Element, not a pick-em-up truck
- ELVIS has limited cargo cubes, hence no pitBull stands and other high-space/volume-eating items
- Trailer hitch UHaul-installed on the Honda CRV, so that opens up rest-time for 140k miles on ELVIS.
- DoT tires, no tireWarmers
- Use shade where we can find it, not quickUps
- One mod/upgrade at a time
- partially for 1-control variable to evaluate at a time, so later on I can make informed comments/assessment on gains made with each mod.
- partially for cost
- first EBC brake pads
- next, SS brakelines & elevated rearsets
- not buying pitBull stands, maybe just the arms like Devin has that tolerate a narrow swingarm bike like my 250
- relying on kindness of strangers & buddies while they tolerate my borrowing
- Devin’s i-live-in-DC, tiny-house foldup trailer approach
- Now truth be told I remain very intrigued by
- Dickey’s Triumph 675 & the
- KTM390
